You've made MG's far worse with the recent "networking" update

They're basically just glitched all the time now. Usually it's just a barrel that you see and then you're dead.

The MG deployment on steep angles (where you can only see the barrel pointing up) has been improved in V291.11281.


Going to need some more details on the misplaced and floating players:  


Has it only happened after initially joining a match and stops after you (and/or they) are killed, or does it continue after respawning?

@Sgt_KarlWollf:  1. Looks like the issue with the lack of an animation for prone characters on slopes. (The Devs are working on creating more aiming animations/poses, so it could apply to MGs are well) 2. Maybe those two particular spots are not configured correctly. (setup for prone/crouched when deploying while standing, instead of staying standing)

I had forwarded this to the Devs after your first post however, but thanks for the reports.

I mean, you basically need to go prone and deploy a MG and the job is done! your barrel would pop out from a crater (for example) and not only your head, making you somehow invincible cause ppl cant even see your head. The video is just a striking example, but it happens quite often

Seems to only happen when the marker is below the crest when deploying while prone. If the marker is on the crest, then it seems fine to me so far.

Update:  That particular Aisne deployment is almost a non-issue since the player can't aim anywhere useful after deploying while crouched, but maybe it could switch to standing instead however. (Like when deploying on sandbags that are above the player while crouched.)

I've mainly seen this when players are deploying prone on steep slopes, like craters, hills, and slopes like the video of Douaumont. (Merged these two threads as well.)

The Devs are aware of this though, and I suspect that it would also be helped with the addition of the new downward
aiming animation/angles.

Kinda looks like network lag. Seeing as on the minimap anyway, they're not in front of you.
